On Sunday, December 5, 2010 the NHATV Club put on their 12th Annual Toys for Tots ride at Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, NH. We were sponsored by HK Powersports of Hooksett and Grappone Toyota in Concord, NH. We want to say “THANK YOU” for your support to help us collect toys for tots.
We had a total of 256 people in attendance and raise 733 toys! We were amazed at the number of toys. We were filled with joy that so many people were so giving in these times.
I have been for the last two years donating my time to making a quilt to be raffled off at the Toys for Tots ride. It filled me with great joy to see how excited Deborah Dillingham of Raymond, NH was to have won that quilt. It definitely convinced me to keep on donating my time to create a quilt each year! As you can see in the picture her MOM really wanted it!
I want to say thank you for all the volunteers who took pictures for me for I forgot my camera two days in a row!! Can’t believe they still let me volunteer?? ( ha,ha).
Santa Claus made his grand entrance this year when he came with his beautiful Honda powered sleigh and reindeer. What a great job!! You definitely deserve a gold star in my book. Keep up the spirit and good will!!
The food was great. I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you to all the hard workers who cooked and kept serving the coffee, donuts, hamburgers and that wonderful Chicken Soup. It surely kept me warm inside.
Diane, sorry to have abandoned you in the end but that RAZOR ride was wonderful!! Thank you Donna for the great ride. MANY others took the opportunity also to sneak a ride in.
In all, we want to thank EVERYONE for making this day a HUGE SUCCESS!!! It was great to see some new faces volunteering. I especially want to say THANK YOU to Blurred Vision ATV Club and NCATV Club for all your help this year. Hope everyone had a great time and to see you all again next year!! Until the next time, ride safely and have fun!!
