For most of my life, I’ve always been a Macgyver at heart, fixing and building anything and everything since I was a kid. At 13, I put a lawnmower engine on a soap box go-cart that I bought. Then I graduated to buying broken go-carts and mopeds. I would fix them and ride them, then trade or sell them off for the next repairable project. Around 2001 , I bought my first Suzuki Vinson atv and added everything from Tracks to homemade fender flairs that no one made for it. I could never leave well enough alone. I sold that a few years later for a motorcycle. Fast forward to 2016 when I bought a new CFMOTO C force 500HO EPS. I have already started customizing it.
I knew I had to learn the new laws of ATVing, so I joined the NHATV club in the Spring of 2016….Best move ever. Not only have I learned a lot by volunteering with them, but I have made new friends and gone to new ATV events such as the Jericho ATV Festival, Camp RZR, and the Bear Brook State Park Toys for Tots ride. That tends to circle back to making more new friends, going to more events, and learning more new things about ATVing. I now find myself sharing this new knowledge to other newbies like myself. The club has now made me a Director. I can’t wait to see what new adventures will arise from this.

My wife Alice and I have been living in Sandown, NH for the past 19 years.
My son Tom and my grandson Tucker got me involved in riding ATV’s and the NHATV club about 4 years ago where I did a few rides and got hooked.
Last year I joined the club and purchased a Can-Am Commander 800R which is a great machine. I just finished my first Ride The Wilds, my second Mount Washington ride and enjoyed the companionship with fellow riders and the great scenery. I always enjoy riding with Tucker and I look forward to seeing you all on the trail.

KID'S RIDE, May 14, 2016 at 9am.
Please be at the Fremont Trailhead
Pizza will be provided.
This is a kid's ride so let's get them out on this safe trail and let them ride.
I bought an ATV in 2010 on a whim and thought the best way to learn about ATVs and where to ride would be to join a club. Living on Southern NH made NHATV the obvious choice. After a two years as a member I decided to become a director in 2012 and 2013.
I am now retired and decided to help by becoming the trail administer for NHATV in 2016 as well as a member of other clubs in New Hampshire. To me, joining a club is the only way to go. You meet many great people, are made aware of all of the activities going on throughout the year and help keep the trails open.
